Fog Signal Timers and Whistle Switches
 |
Several fog signal timers are manufactured by Kahlenberg to meet various
requirements for safety of ships at sea. Model M-411 housed in a waterproof cast aluminum
enclosure, can be installed with up to 6 signal codes. It is operated in conjunction with
an "Automatic/At Will" switch such as the M-463A for mounting in the pilothouse.
The M-411AS Timer (not shown) includes Start/Stop push buttons for automatic signaling.
Both units function with waterproof M-131 or M-134 series bronze push buttons for "at
will" signaling from the pilot house or bridge wings. Additional timers are also
available such as the compact single-code M-485. Let us know your particular requirements.

Air Compressor/Tank Units
| Kahlenberg manufactures a complete line of air compressor units
for use with all Kahlenberg Airhorns. These units are electric motor driven, single and
two stage, ranging from 1/6 horsepower to 2 horsepower units capable of up to 5.25
C.F.M.
free air delivery at 150 p.s.i. Most are available in any standard voltage. Data sheets
are available for each model. Various sizes of air receivers are also available with
ASME,
ABS, and USCG certification. |

Ship's Bells
 |
Kahlenberg Ship's Bells are polished cast bronze and are available in
12" and 24" diameter sizes. The vessel name can be cast or engraved into the
bell. Chrome finish of the highest quality is offered as an option.
M-468 and M-468A Whistle Selector Switch
To be used with a dual whistle system, the M-468 and M-468A switches allow either or both
whistles to be sounded from the timer or "at will" switches. M-468 is bulkhead
mount, M-468A is flush mount type. |
M-200 Whistle Pull
| The M-200 Whistle Pull is a quality cast bronze accessory for installation
on a bulkhead or pilothouse overhead. It is used for operation of our manual and
combination manual/electric valves |

Air Valves and Accessories
 |
Electric solenoid valves, combination manual/electric valves and manually
operated valves for use with all Kahlenberg Airhorns and Air/Steam Whistles are available.
Electric solenoid valves and combination valves come in any standard A.C. or D.C. voltage,
and include explosion/waterproof variations. Valve bodies range in size from 1/8" up
to 2" N.P.T. Our cast bronze V-31 combination manual/solenoid valve is extremely
durable, and can be seen as installed on "Chimetone Airhorns" shown herein.
Globe Valves, Check Valves, Safety Valves, Air Stainers, and Pressure Switches are also
available. |
Whistle Lights
Kahlenberg Whistle Lights are cast bronze, waterproof, and have a hinged
lid for easy access. International Regulations require the use of a clear fresnel lens,
while U.S.C.G. Inland Rules allow for the use of an amber fresnel lens if desired. Either
option is available. The M-356 Whistle Light (not shown) includes a glass dome allowing
light to pass through the top of the assembly.
